The name Awesome View is no boast. From the front deck you can see for 30 miles, across range after range of Smoky Mountains. High above Maggie Valley, this vacation rental is sure to please. This log home will sleep six comfortably with 2 big bedrooms (1 King bed and 1 Queen bed) and the sleeping loft with two twin beds. Two full bathrooms. There is a big hot tub on the deck overlooking the view. There is room for 2 vehicles in the driveway and 1 in the garage. At 4,700 feet above sea level, the air is cool and dry. Beat the heat in the Smoky Mountains of Maggie Valley, NC. Game tables in the loft let you have some fun and enjoy the view at the same time.
High-Speed WIFI throughout home. Smart TVs/Rokus with YouTube TV included.
Linens and towels are provided. Starter sets of paper products and soaps provided. For longer stays guests will need their own.
** PET-FRIENDLY** If you are booking through a third party and choose to bring a dog, the pet fee will be charged AFTER you reserve ($75 + tax). 35 lbs and under. You must let us know in your message if you are bringing a dog.
NOTE: FOUR WHEEL DRIVE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! The last mile of the road to Awesome View is gravel. The first 1/3 of this road is steep and can be rough (bumpy not muddy) depending on recent weather. This access road is NOT suitable for trailers.

Reservations
Call (828) 926-9681 today and make your reservation. If you are mailing a check, reservations can be held for one week upon request, allowing time for receipt of your deposit. Any other payments are due at the time of booking. The balance must be received at least 30 days before your arrival. Cancellation Policy: Ask us about travel insurance! If you cancel at least 30 days before your planned arrival, your payment will be refunded. If you cancel with less than 30 days’ notice but at least 15 days' notice, you will be refunded 50% of the deposit (which is 50%). No refunds are made with less than 15 days' notice. The $55 reservation fee is NON-refundable. |

We enjoyed this property immensely; the hot tub is a nice touch. The road up to the property is rough and 4-wheel drive made it much more manageable. Overall we would book this property again, very beautiful view of Smokies especially when it snows!

Our family of four enjoyed our stay in "Awesome View". The name is certainly accurate. If you are planning on this you NEED a 4WD vehicle. The driveway is steep and narrow and you would not want to be on this without 4WD. With that said the listing is accurate and you should do fine with the terrain as long as you are prepared. The cabin was very nice and we had a great stay.
