Built in 1986 nestled in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains, this rustic log cabin is fitting for a retreat with your other half or even for groups up to 8. Four bedrooms (3 full bedrooms and a small bonus room) -- One king bed, two queens, and a twin trundle bed, and two full bathrooms. High-Speed WIFI provided by Starlink (Installed October 2023), and new wood floors in the bedrooms (Installed March 2025). Smart TVs in home with YouTube TV provided.
Enjoy the peaceful, long range view of Plott Balsam from the GRAND covered porch with comfortable outdoor seating and a 5 person HOT TUB. Chilly? No problem. The view is also visible from the vaulted ceiling living room hosting a wood-burning fireplace.
Only one dog is allowed and it must be under 35 lbs. A separate, one-time fee of $75 will be added onto your reservation. Please let us know at the time of booking if you are bringing a dog.
**Note -- for reservations between Nov and April you MUST have FOUR WHEEL DRIVE and understand that it may snow and you can get snowed in!! We do not cover the cost of towing if you get stuck**
Linens and towels are provided as well as a starter set of paper products.

Reservations
Call (828) 926-9681 today and make your reservation. If you are mailing a check, reservations can be held for one week upon request, allowing time for receipt of your deposit. Any other payments are due at the time of booking. The balance must be received at least 30 days before your arrival. Cancellation Policy: Ask us about travel insurance! If you cancel at least 30 days before your planned arrival, your payment will be refunded. If you cancel with less than 30 days’ notice but at least 15 days' notice, you will be refunded 50% of the deposit (which is 50%). No refunds are made with less than 15 days' notice. The $55 reservation fee is NON-refundable. |

We had a lovely stay! Location was beautiful and cabin was charming. Only call out I would like to make is that the cabin is not a true 4 bedroom as advertised. The 4th bedroom if off of the kitchen and is a very small room that has just enough room to fit a queen bed (no closet).
